Fabio Mancini

Fabio is a PhD student at the Department of Geology and Geophysics of the University of Edinburgh and is associated with the Edinburgh Anisotropy Project of the British Geological Survey. His PhD project is on multicomponent seismic data imaging and data integration using information from well logs. The data are provided by BG Group which is the CASE sponsor.

He received a Laurea (BSc) in Geology from the University of Rome "La Sapienza", he then worked for three years for CGG, processing 3D seismic data in their offices in London and Aberdeen (Shell dedicated centre)
