Serafeim Vlastos
Serafeim is a student at the Department of Geology and Geophysics) of the University of Edinburgh and is working at the Edinburgh Anisotropy Project of the British Geological Survey.He received a BSc in physics from the School of Physics and an MSc in geophysics from the Department of Geophysics of the School of Geology of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
His PhD subject is "Seismic characterization of fluid flow in fractured reservoirs". During his project he will focus on developing and validating theories of wave propagation in fractured porous rock and devising innovative techniques to predict fluid flow properties from field seismic measurements.
