Simon Tod

Simon is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics at the University of Cambridge and is affiliated to the Edinburgh Anisotropy Project of the British Geological Survey. He is funded by NERC on a project entitled "Determination of hydraulic properties of distributed fractures using seismic techniques" as part of the thematic programme "Understanding the micro-to-macro behaviour of rock fluid systems".

In 1998 Simon was awarded a B.A. in Mathematics at the University of Cambridge, and in 1999 a Certificate of Advanced Study in Mathematics in which he specialised in continuum mechanics.
